The Chair for Vocational Education and Training and the FHNW School of Education together organise the upcoming 2018 workshop of the VET & Culture Network that will take place at the University of Zurich at 17.–18. September.
Apprenticeship and VET are considered as distinct approaches towards initial education that have been opened and extended to various directions over time. Therefore, it is the aim of the workshop to combine various perspectives on vocational education. Namely, these are a historising dimension, an open understanding of vocational education including higher, further and adult education, and non-formal and informal aspects.
The workshop comprises presentations and round tables as well as a planned field visit.
