Self-regulated learning skills (SRL) are crucial for successful education, and teachers play a key role in fostering students' SRL. This experimental study investigates how accurately (preservice) teachers can assess students' SRL skills and the information they use to make these judgements. Participants are presented with fictional students' learning traces.
