At the Institute of Education, research and research cooperation are focused in five topical clusters. In these clusters, fundamental and application oriented research on important scientific and social topics takes place. With historical, qualitative, quantitative, and theory forming approaches, this research addresses challenges and questions in formal, non-formal, and informal educational contexts, e.g. in school, in the family, in the labor market, or in youth work.
